Mallama was founded in 2019 on one simple premise – everyone deserves a high-performance skincare product that leaves them and the planet looking good and feeling good. In the first chapter of our journey, we’re committed towards paving the way forward for the future generations of people who are looking to treat their skin the way that it deserves to be treated, while remaining environmentally conscious all at the same time.

Together with our customers, we hope to push the skincare industry forward through a new model of business through the use of only all natural ingredients and the embrace of sustainability best practices.

It has been a privilege to start Mallama. While some things have changed since we set out to create this company, one thing has remained through it all: our purpose, our reason for being:  is to make skin care as simple and joyful as possible, to really eliminate the cumbersome or frustrating parts so that people will be happier and make the world a little cleaner and more sustainable.

The truth is, we were seeking it. We couldn’t find clean, effective, and sustainable skin care products. skin care felt like an afterthought, never the first thought. In our minds, skin care was more than a face wash, bigger than big bottle moisturizer. skin care is self-care, and self-care is a skin care.

Corporate responsibility is perhaps the most daunting and most important aspect of starting a business today. Yet, to us, it has become clear that the most pressing challenge we all face is our planet. No planet, no person. Advocating for the sustainable way, for doing what’s right, not what’s easy, has become a cornerstone of who we are and what we do. We are not perfect and we have far to go, but you have our commitment: We are in it for the long term.
